“Our Garden”
Decorate a small part of your classroom as a garden. Find shovels, rakes and other gardening tools to place around the garden. Make fake plants and vegetables, such as corn, pumpkins, tomatoes, carrots and so on. Also make the cornstalks and pumpkin patch. In the center you will place an old wheelbarrow that is set upright, and secured so it won’t fall down. Put cushions in the wheelbarrow and when a student wants to share their art or music or any other product they sit in the wheelbarrow and show the whole class. If the wheelbarrow doesn’t work get a chair and decorate it as a wheelbarrow. You many put up a backdrop of a garden if that works better.

“Lights, Camera, Action”
Find a space in your room to set up as a movie set. Decorate the back with scenes from a movie or movies. Around the outside set up fake video cameras, if you wish you could use one real camera, and then you can record students as they share their work. If possible you could find lamps or lights to also set around the outside. You could also make the lights and set them up around the outside. Another idea is to find old or cheap lamps and decorate them to look like movie lights. In the middle of all this set up a chair that is similar to a directors chair and have the students sit in that when they share. You could even make names of all the students and put their name on the chair when they are sharing.
