Authentic Assessments

 

The unit we will be assessing is on maps and globes. The objective is to identify land and water on a globe. For the assessment we will use inflatable globe to throw around the classroom, and the student that catches it will identify where their index finger is as land or water.

 

                               

 

 

 

 

Targeted towards ESL students, they will make a spreadsheet chart to keep track of their writing or language arts projects that we completed in class. This will help them to visually see their progress. This will not only help the students but both the teacher and the parents will be able to keep track of their students progress.
