1.  Think of a place that you have traveled or would like to travel to: Now choose one of the following writing options to full fill this assignment. Which includes why someone would like to travel to this place, points of interest, places to eat and stay, geographic location, and any pictures that show the area.

A general rubric will be provided for the assignment so that every project will incorporate the same criteria. With the rubric the students will be graded according to the same criteria but able to use their own creativity.

 

 

 

 

2. While reading the book ÒAnanseÓs FeastÓ by Tololwa Mollel stop after Ananse                       finished his feast. Have the children predict how they think it should end. After all              children have finished writing their story read the real ending.  Let the children share their ending with the class.
