Fluency Strategies

Have the student chose a sentence and have the teacher write out the sentence on a large piece of paper. Have students cut out each word in the sentence and put the sentence back in order. Students may switch sentences with each other to get more practice.

Have children read aloud a book to the teacher and then as the students struggles with certain words make flashcards for the student to practice the punctuation of the words.
