Bulletin Board
Make a slice of pizza or pie for each student in the class. Make sure you have 10 slices equal 1 pizza or pie. In the morning put the students present together in the pizzas. You may have a student do it. Talk about how many whole and fractions of the pizza the class made today compare it to how many it should. Also when you do group activities use the pizzaÕs to put them into their groups. Talk about what fraction of the pizza each group makes. Example if you had four per group you would have 2/5 of the pizza for each group.
