á Have the student of the day read a book of
their choice to the class, or select one student to read out loud everyday
á Buddy reading, this is where each student
picks a buddy and takes turns reading to each other.
á 20 minute reading out loud to
themselves. Have students
read in their 6 inch voices.
á Each day choose two students to focus on
their reading skills and assess them.
á Parent reading. Have parents come to class and listen to students read. Parents can fill out a form about
students.
