Materials:
·A supply of pictures, which can be secured from workbooks, magazines, catalogs, and the liked.
·Large pieces of white construction paper
·Glue or paste
·Scissors
As the students receive their
words to go into their dictionary the children will look through the materials
provided to find pictures of things that would represent their word. This is a fun way for students to learn
new words, while searching for more meaning through pictures.
