Utah Core Curriculum Standard 3 objective 1a, c, d.

 

            Create a worksheet similar to the one that is shown below identifying the different types of shapes that the students will be learning.  Have them take five to ten minutes to identify the shapes throughout the classroom, playground or other areas in the school.  They should identify at least 3 objects for each shape.
