1. Each student will be given a notebook at the beginning of the school year designated specifically for them to create their own personal dictionary throughout the school year.

2. They will look up any spelling words that they do not know the meaning of at the beginning of the week.

3. Students will be required to define all the words they missed on their spelling test, in their personal dictionaries.

4. As a class, we will define the word wall list, and students must include these words in their dictionaries as well.
