Fluency Strategies

Strategy #1

A. The students will be assigned to write a story. They

will be divided into small groups. In the group, the

students will read each other’s stories and correct them.

B. The students will watch for correct punctuation, correct

spelling, and correct grammar.

Strategy #2 (Standard I, Objective 2-b)

A. The students will be divided into small groups. They will

create a poster resembling a newspaper.

B. Then the students will present their poster in front of the

class.

C. The students listening to the presentation will critique their

project and their presenting skills.
