Writing assignment

Group assignment: Have each person in the group write down three emotions that they think pertains to the Ann Frank story. The emotions written down should be as original as possible. Then have each person in the group share why they thought those emotions pertained. After sharing have the students rewrite any that are the same so that everyone has something different. Put all the emotions on little pieces of paper and put them in a bag. Mix up the emotions and have each person draw three new emotions. Finally, have each student write a one page paper pretending that they are Ann Frank. The students must incorporate their three emotions into their paper.
