Student Dictionary

Make a Newspaper:

Have the students’ select 10 words from the story that they do not understand and look them up in the dictionary. After writing them down tell the students they need to pretend that they are reporters back in the 1940’s and they need to write an article about Jewish people in hiding. Instruct the students that they must write a one paragraph article using 3 of the words they looked up in the article.
