Four authentic assignments

1. Play – The students will write a play about going to the grocery store and buying groceries for people in the families.

2. Commercial – The students will write up a commercial selling a product that they have made. The product has to go along with their occupation.

3. Newspaper ad – The students will write up an ad to sell their car, house, etc. Must include picture or drawing of the item that they are selling.

4. Grocery list – The students will write up a list of things that they need and also predict the prices that they think each product will be. Predict how much they will need to buy and how much they will spend.
