For our math center we will have a grocery store simulation. Each group will have to make a shopping list and go to our imaginary grocery store. This will give them the opportunity to use their budgeting skills and a real like situation.
Another center will be a group interview with the contractor. Students will bring their budgeted plan to find out how realistic their plan is for building a home.
