Three kinds of manipulative

1. Ruler – The students will use a ruler to help them construct the house that they are building.

2. Newspaper – The students will use the newspaper as a reference for pricing specific items such as houses, cars, etc.

3. Television – The students will be asked to watch several different types of advertising commercials to help them come up with one of their own.
