Interactive Bulletin Board Ideas
1. Place different sections of survival for the bulletin board. Such as wilderness, crime, violence, work, and school. You give the children these ideas and have them chose their own idea of survival. Then have your students find an article or write a story dealing with this survival. This could be a personal story or their own creative story. Have the children share their thoughts with the class and hang the stories up under the category it fits in.
2. Give
each child a name of a type of survival tool.
This could be anything like, ax, matches, pocket knife, tent, etc. Once the student has their survival item have
them relate it to their life and how it could help them. Then have the students create a picture of
their survival item, and type up their theory on how this could help them. Then hang their picture and theory up on the
bulletin board.
