1-) Computers (see technology uses)

2-) Reading Center--students will have a topic that is being covered that week and will find information through encyclopedias, science magazines, science books, etc. They will record their findings in their science journal.

3-) Hands-On Model Making—students will use materials to create projects such as DNA strands, universe, etc.

4-) Discovery Journal—students will have the opportunity to watch the Discovery Channel in class and write in their journal what they found interesting, something new they learned, and something they would like to research farther.
