BOOK REPORT

* While reading, record how many miles that a character has traveled within a book. If needed use a map to estimate miles. Also, if needed students can estimate miles if locations are not given. Example: In the book “Lord of the Rings” how many miles did Frodo travel in Chapter 5.

* Have the students read a book that includes changing outfits. Have the students record how many times a character changes clothes. How many pair of pants did they wear? How many shirts did they wear?
