Book Report

The teacher will read a book to the students about caterpillars.  Then the teacher will hand out pieces of colored paper that are about a foot in diameter to each student.  Each student will have two pieces of paper.  On each paper the students will write one unique thing that they liked about the caterpillar book.  The teacher will make the face of the large caterpillar on paper and write the title of the book and the author on it and tack it to the wall.  After the students have finished with their two circles the teacher will help them place them on the wall in a line following the head.  The class will form a large class caterpillar that will wrap around the room.  This will enable the students to review what the book was about and for visitors to read the story without reading the book.
