Decoding Strategies

1. Students take vocabulary words and cut them into groups by prefixes, suffixes and some by individual letters.
2. Students can then play matching games with the grouped letters and try to make the vocabulary words.
3. Once the student makes the word, they can tape it on a piece of paper and write a sentence or a story with it.
