in Art
1. Have the student chose a book at their level of reading and find the words that they are unfamiliar with. The student will then put words into a song. They write it out. Then they take time practicing the song until they become familiar with the words in the song. The reread the book out loud to the class.
2. The children choose a passage from a book. Have the child read it out loud. The
child will then pick words from the book.
Then they will act out the words and say them in different ways until
they find a way they like. Then
reread the passage using the new way to say it. This way they improve their expression in fluency.
