Create an art wall. Include paintings, drawings, etc.
from well-known artists as well as including art work the students have done
in class or at home. Encourage
the students to bring in things to put up on the art wall. |
|
On
some wall space in the classroom, put up a music staff. Choose a familiar song the students know
and place the notes of the song on the staff. Have students write their guess as to what song is on the
wall and put their guess in the music box. Change the song once every two weeks.

Make
a music scrap book. Have each
student choose a music topic.
After they have chosen their topic, have him or her create a collage
page centered on that topic using pictures from magazines, newspapers, or any
other source in their environment.
When the pages are completed, put them all together to make a music
book for the students to look during their free time. |
