Interactive Bulletin Board Ideas

Idea 1

Have a calendar for each month with attachments that come off that correspond with the month, such as Christmas stockings for December, snowflakes for January, hearts for February, shamrocks for March, umbrellas for April, flowers for May, suns for June, flags for July, apples for August, school books for September, pumpkins for October and turkeys for November.

Each of the attachments could have activities for the kids to do if they finish a regular school project early and have free time.

Have a calendar for each month with attachments that come off that correspond with the month, such as Christmas stockings for December, snowmen for January, hearts for February, shamrocks for March, umbrellas for April, flowers for May, suns for June, flags for July, apples for August, school books for September, pumpkins for October and turkeys for November.

Each month there would be a new 'idea' to learn. In December, since there is always a performance for the parents, you could choose to teach the children music. Each day there would be a new activity about the months topic. For December, you could start with teaching the notes.

And each day for one week you could teach about the different notes.
The next week you could start showing the diferent types of intruments.

The third week they could actually use the instruments with sheet music and to practice.
