1. Have students in pairs write poems about the birds
they have learned about.
2. In groups have the students draw and label the birds
they have learned.
3. Have students make their own story.
4. As a class make a story. The teacher writes one page
and draws a picture to go with it. Then the story is passed on to one student
who writes one page and draws a picture to go with it. After the last student has done his or
her pages as a class come up with an ending.
5. Have students write a paragraph about what they
learned during that particular lesson.
