based on a book they have read.

On a poster-sized chart, students create a timeline in a
format of their choice. (Several
options should be modeled.)
Timeline should include an appropriate number of entries that summarize
the main ideas and details of the text in sequence. Students should include several illustrations that deal with
characters or setting.
Students also should write and illustrate their response to the text, showing one connection they made to the text while reading.
