2 Authentic Writing Assessments for Fine Arts

Language Arts Standard IV: Spell words correctly. Have
students make a power point presentation using knowledge of Greek and Latin
roots and affixes to spell multi syllable words. You could have 3-4 students
working together in each group.
2.
Have students re-write a grade level text into a readerŐs
theater. Have 3 groups of students, with each group taking a different chapter
in the book. Then each student in the group takes a section and transforms that
section into a script.
