I’m the Character

After the students are finished reading the book, we will assign different students a character from that book. They will pretend to be that character and the rest of the class will ask them questions.

They will ask questions that will give the character the opportunity to discuss their thoughts and feelings about their role in the story.

When they are done asking them the questions, they will choose a character that is their favorite and write a short summary of why they chose that character.
