Book Report Choices

1. Poster Advertisement

Have the students include characters and a slogan to entice other students to read the book. Do not let the students give away the ending of the book.

2. Role Playing

Let students work together to role-play a scene from the book.

3. Book Cover

Have the students design a book cover with a summary written inside of the cover.

4. Collage

Have the students cut out words and pictures that describe the events and characters of their book.

5. Written Report

Have the students write a report about the book. Include all elements of the story.

6. Students Choice

Let the students come up with their own book report idea. Have them approve it with the teacher first.

*Have the students choose a different method each time they do a book report.
