Dictionary

 

  1. One idea we have was to have words in a book and have the students find pictures for them by drawing them, cutting them out of a magazine, or a book then defining the word from the dictionary. So, they would have the word, a picture, and the definition.
  2. This idea is opposite of the first one have the pictures in a book and have the students find the word to match the picture and then define the word.
  3.  Then after the students have done one of the top two ideas have the students make mnemonic devices for each word so they could remember the word.
