Ballderscience

The students will be divided into three groups. Each group of students will be given five different science vocabulary words. Each group will have the same five words. They will make up a definition to each word by breaking the word apart and defining it by the roots. They will come together as a class, and the teacher will have the correct definition written up on a card. It will be the same as the ones the students wrote their definitions on. The teacher will collect all the group’s words and then read each one to the class. The students in each group will vote on what definition they think is correct.

Inspirations

Each student will be given a science concept. Using the inspiration program they will type their concept and branch off different ideas and information. This will help them better understand the concept.
