Since Spring 2001, students enrolled in History 2700/2710 have been required
to engage in history-related service-learning projects. These projects contribute
to a larger university-wide effort to encourage service-learning, a "form
of experiential education that combines organized service with academic learning
to improve both." Service is tied to the curriculum because students apply what
they learn in the classroom to "real-life" situations. Click the links below
to see full versions of students' reports.
