Dr. Michael Ostrowsky (Ph.D., SUNY Albany) is a sociologist specializing in crime and deviance. He has experience teaching a variety of courses, such as Applied Research Methods, Crime and Society, Deviance, Environmental Sociology, Juvenile Delinquency, Modern Social Problems, Sociology of Drugs, Sociology of Education, and Sociology of Sports. His research has focused on crime, criminology theory, violent behavior, drug use, self-esteem and depression.
