Dr. Larry L. Ping is Professor of History. Professor Ping teaches courses in modern European history, ancient Greece and Rome, and military history. His research interests include Prussia, Imperial Germany and Nineteenth Century German politics. His publications include: Gustav Freytag and the Prussian Gospel: Novels, Liberalism, and History (Oxford and Bern: Peter Lang, 2006) as well as articles on German Liberalism in Central European History and German Studies Review.
