Note: Choose one platform to perform your labs on, either Windows or Linux, this determines if you do the A or B Modules.

Live CD Project
This project entails creating a live CD using BartPE or some other application that allows you to build your own Pre-installed Environment. Requirements for this project include the following: Use BartPE (Windows) or Remastersys (Linux), or any other application that allows you to create a pre-installed environment (aka: LiveCD). Determine what security tools you want to include in the distribution. Setup your CD with the tools you have selected Burn your CD and Turn it in to the instructor (The instructor will provide you with the CD you will turn in). Demonstrate the tools you included on your CD to the class, from your CD. You may want to burn a separate copy for yourself (you will need to provide your own CD for this copy). Provide a written summary of your project, this will include the following information, and be turned in with your CD: Applications included on CD Summary of what each application is used for and the real-world application (ie. how does it relate to or help a Security specialist do their job?)
