Rosalyn Eves earned her MA and PhD in English at The Pennsylvania State University. Her primary focus is rhetoric and composition; within that, she specializes in feminist rhetoric, nineteenth-century women's rhetorics, rhetorics of space, and historiography. Her dissertation won the Rhetoric Society of America's 2009 award for best dissertation. She has published in Rhetoric Review and Legacy, and has chapters in several anthologies. Currently, she teaches English 1010: Introduction to Academic Writing and English 2010: Writing about Rhetoric.
Prior to coming to SUU, Dr. Eves directed the Writing Fellows program at BYU and the Graduate Writing center at Penn State.
She is married to Daniel Eves, an assistant professor of chemistry at SUU, and they have three children.
