What's a listserv?

A listserv is simply away to send multiple copies of the same message to a select group. To become a member of the circle of people reading the same book you are, you have to follow the procedure listed below.

To subscribe to your listserv group:

1. Go to Pegasus Mail, or any other mail device
2. Open a NEW MAIL message
3. Address the letter to: Maiser@edu-suu-lnl.ll.suu.edu
4. Leave the SUBJECT line blank
5. In BODY of message type: subscribe {the code for your book}
6. SEND your mail.

Some cautions:

1. DO NOT type the entire title of your book.
2. Enter the code listed below for you book of choice.
3. DON'T use the MAISER address to communicate with your group once you're subscribed. Instead, type in the code name for your book to replace the word MAISER.
4. If you need to send a wordprocessing file to your group, follow these directions.

To use the smiling mail graphic above, you will have to go to the OPTION menu at the top of your screen, select "Mail and News Preferences" and fill in your e-mail address first. Otherwise, log into your student account and send the message through Pegasus Mail.
