Welcome to my home page. I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at Southern Utah University. This semester, I am teaching Critical Thinking & Listening and Nonverbal Communication. Apart from teaching, I am actively working to launch a new website on public apologia and working on various projects related to my interests in attack and defense rhetoric as well as my own theory of discursive responses to apologia (called
antapologia). Oh yeah, I'm also trying to learn some Mandarin before heading to Changsha, China this summer to teach a class at Hunan Normal University. Luckily, the class is in English.
