Professor Wang received her MFA degree in Dance from The Ohio State University, BFA degree from Northern Illinois University, and AA degree from National Taiwan Academy of Arts. She was a soloist with Utah Repertory Dance Theatre from 2002-2007. Before coming to the United States, she has danced professionally with Taipei Ballet Company. Professor Wang was awarded University Fellowship at OSU and in 2006, she was a recipient of the Project Support Grant from Salt Lake City Arts Council to present Bridging Bridges. She is a certified Labanotation teacher and has taught both ballet and modern dance at OSU and National Taiwan University of Arts. Her performing experience includes solo roles in several ballets (Paquita, Nutcracker, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty), plus contemporary works by Zvi Gotheiner, Gideon Obarzanek, Susan Hadley, Tandy Beal, Stephen Koester, Lucas Hoving, Scott Rink, Molissa Fenley, Douglas Nielsen, Victoria Uris, John Giffin, and many others. Her choreographic works has been presented in American Dance Guild Festival (New York City), RDT, NTUA, SUU and other performance venues. Professor Wang teaches Modern Dance, Classical Ballet, American Character Ballet, and Dance Ensemble.
