Lynn White

Education: B.A. 1990, Bishops University; M.A. 1993, Ph.D. 1997, Physiological and Comparative Psychology, McGill University.

Dr. White teaches upper division courses: Statistics, Research Design, Stress and Pain, Health Psychology, Brain and Behavior, and Independent Research I and II.  She is the director for SUU’s Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Program (UGRASP) and she is the faculty advisor to the University’s Chapter of Alpha Chi, a cross-disciplinary national honor’s society for undergraduate and graduate students.

Dr. White's research interests center around topics in health psychology, particularly those from a physiological perspective.  These include human lactation and stress related issues.  Since 1997, she has (co)authored 31 presentations and publications, the majority of which were undergraduate student-faculty collaborations.
