As you transition to Southern Utah University, it is important that we get to know you and you get to know us. To that end, we invite you and your immediate family to come learn about the resources available to help you be successful and to have dinner with us. If you have daycare needs, the Center for Women and Families will be available to talk with you about grants that you may qualify for to help with those expenses. Have questions about enrollment, transfer credits, academic support, disability services, how to get involved, and Service and Learning - representatives from those departments will also be available. So come join us for awhile and become familiar with the campus and the staff who want to help you be successful. Dinner will be served at 6:00 and prizes and give-aways will be available throughout the event. An RSVP is required so catering can prepare enough food.

• Obtain a Parking Permit from SUU Police

  You don’t want to get a parking ticket so take the time today to stop by suite 201 in the Sharwan Smith Student Center to get a parking decal. They cost $12/year. Remember to bring your vehicle registration with you!

  Note: If you have an SUU personalized plate, you do not need a parking permit to park in main campus lots. To park in residence hall lots, you must be a resident and you must have a decal.

• Complete your Financial Aid Loan Counseling

  If you have been awarded a Federal Stafford Loan or a Federal Perkins Loan and if you have not yet completed the required online Entrance Loan Counseling, do it today. You can use any computer with internet access and printer. If you need access to a computer, there are some located in the Electronic Learning Center (ELC), room 312 that you can use to complete this process. It takes approximately 20 minutes.

  Note: After you complete the loan counseling, you must complete the Master Promissory Note. Instructions for this process will be given to you during the online Entrance Loan Counseling program.
