Knowledge is Power

Here are a few quotes from todays speakers:

Brenda Burrellasked participants to think about how they were going to make the world a better place. She pushed everyone present by asking, "How do you get from this chair at GHA to where you want to go? And what are you willing to do to get there? How hard are you willing to work?" She quoted President Roosevelt as saying, "The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing who to get along with people." She encouraged everyone to 1)Live fully, 2) Laugh Often, 3)Dance like nobody is watching, and 4) Have no feat.

Justin Osmond taught us that we may have a challenge, but we don't want to let that challenge have us. He showed us six principles to make sure we did this.
1) Accept yourself for who you are and not what you are.
2) Motivation: Determine what motivates you.
3) Service: "It's like tennis- you start out with a whole lot of love, but you don't get anywhere until you serve
4) Overcome fear of inadequacies, failure, people and consequences.
5) Apply what you've learned and share it.
6) Never Ever Give UP!
He challenged us to keep touching people's lives.
