Accomodations

March 15: Participants should plan on staying at the Hotel Congress the night of March 15 (Saturday) where the Institute has arranged for a group rate. The Insititute will officially begin Sunday morning, March 16, at 9:00am at the Hotel Congress, Tucson, AZ.

March 16,17: The Institute will move to Organ Pipe National Monument. The group will be camping both nights. Tables, water and toilets are available at the campground.

March 18: Primitive camping in Mexico's Pinacate Biosphere Preserve. No water, no toilets, no amenities. Lots of solitude.

March 19: Participants will spend the night at the CEDO (Centro Intercultural para el Estudio de los Desiertos y Oceanos) Research Station in Puerto Penasco. Water (but don't drink it), toilets (sort of), showers and a beautiful view of the Sea of Cortez.

March 20: Back to the luxury of the Congress Hotel in Tucson. The Institute officially concludes after the celebratory group dinner.

March 21: Group rates continue at the Hotel Congress.
