Blackwoods Campground is a National Parks campground located in the heart of Acadia National Park and will be the project base camp. Easy access to Acadia and Bar Harbor is provided by free buses that run loops around the Island, stopping at all the campgrounds, and attractions. A section of sites will be reserved for Partners in the Parks participants. Nightly campfire programs will facilitate camaraderie among participants.
