FAQ
Travel
It is suggested that participants traveling by air make their plans to fly
into the airport in Portland, Maine, as it is the most accessible and least
expensive. Project organizers will provide travel to the park leaving from
the Hampton Inn Portland-Airport (see Hotel below) at 8:00am, August 9. They
will also provide return travel to the hotel arriving at 6:00pm, August 15.
Hotel
Project organizers have arranged for a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Portland-Airport
(South Portland, ME) for participants that arrive Friday, August 8. The group
rate is $139. Reservations must be made at least a month in advance so please
make reservation before July 8.
NCHC STUDENT STIPEND: The
National Collegiate Honors Council is supporting Partners in the Parks by funding
student stipends to help defray the registrations costs for low income and other
