It is suggested that participants traveling by air make their plans to fly into the airport in Portland, Maine as it is the most accessible and least expensive. Project organizers will provide travel to the park leaving from the Hampton Inn Portland-Airport (see Hotel below) They will also provide return travel to the hotel.
The cost of travel getting to and from Portland
and lodging at the Hampton Inn is the responsibility of the
participant. All costs from Saturday morning to Friday afternoon
(other than showers and incidentals) are included in the registration
fee, including food.
Project organizers have arranged for a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Portland-Airport (South Portland, ME) for the days immediately before and immediatly following the project, August 13 and August 21, 2010. To receive the group rate ( $119/night) reservations must be made before July 7, 2010. The code for the PITP rate is: UMA.
This hotel provides a free airport shuttle and a complimentary breakfast.
