REMINDER: Participants should NOT travel on commercial airlines with backpacking stoves or fuel.

This project will include an over-night backpacking experience so, in addition to basic outdoor clothing and equipment, every participant needs to have the minimum equipment necessary for that activity. Please review the equipment lists provided on this page to make sure that all needs are met. Except for stoves, students are encouraged to bring their own camping/backpacking equipment. For those who don't have equipment or don't want to travel with their equipment, the SUU Outdoor Center will offer some rentals at reasonable rates (below).
