FAQ
ACCOMMODATIONS
YURT: Participants will have the unique opportunity to camp in the monument's winter ranger station. The station is a round, semi-permanent tent, called a yurt. The design of these efficient structures is based on the portable dwellings used by nomadic cultures in Central Asia. The Monument is closed for the winter so we will not have access to their facilities. We will have a very primitive bathroom.
QUINZEE: There will also be an opportunity to spend at least one night in a
quinzee, a snow shelter that we will build.
