EQUIPMENT

REMINDER: Participants should NOT travel on commercial airlines with backpacking stoves or fuel.

This project will include camping in the varied terrain and altitudes that make Olympic such a unique park. So, in addition to basic outdoor clothing every participant needs to have the minimum equipment necessary for that activity. You can expect to encounter wet and rainy conditions. Every student should review the equipment lists provided on this page to make sure that all needs are met.

Program Directors will send all participants a detailed suggested packing list. Below are the items considered essential for this program.
