These courses are required for English Literature and English Teaching majors and minors as prerequisites to 3000 level and above classes.

ENGL 4320	Shakespeare	3
ENGL 4410	Advanced Study in Critical Methods	3

Select from the following (at least 9 hours)
ENGL 4110	Literary Genres	3
ENGL 4210	Literary History	3
ENGL 4310	Major Authors	3
ENGL 4510	Topics in Literature	3

Comment: No course for which a grade lower than a C- is received may be counted for any major or minor emphasis in the department
