Our Mission: To provide writers with readers

- For Writing Assistants
- For Faculty

Scriblerian
Writing For Life Conference

Believing that all writers need readers, we strive to serve the SUU community by responding as people to people, not merely as editors to papers in need of correction.  As students ourselves, we approach the writers who come to us as authors who have important issues to think through and talk about.  Because composition course fees fund our Center, we make ENGL 1010 and 2010 students the primary focus of our consultations.  However, we also serve students and faculty by offering responses to a wide variety of documents written for a wide variety of purposes and audiences, as well as by sponsoring panel discussions, workshops, an annual essay contest, readings by visiting writers, and other literacy events.
